The Discipleship and Evangelism Training Center (MEICRON DETC) seeks to bring you into a more intimate relationship with God. It also gives you an opportunity to discover your passions and your part in God’s purposes for the world. It is for those who long to follow Jesus in new ways with a different perspective.
The course is a part-time program and lasts five or six weeks. It consists of two parts: lecture phase and outreach phase. In the lecture phase, you will learn more about God and His world. You’ll learn not only from lectures but also from practical training. The outreach phase focuses on applying what you learned in the classroom through an intense, cross-cultural experience.
You can apply for the DETC at two MEICRON locations in Kinshasa, D.R Congo and in India.
DETC is the prerequisite for not only becoming MEICRON staff, but also for MEICRON second-level training.
Evangelism is the responsibility of every believer. There is no such thing as the “gift of evangelism,” rather, all Christians have the obligation to share the gospel. It is, and should be, on the heart of every believer to look for opportunities to share. First of all we call people to lives of incarnational mission, showing and sharing the love of Jesus personally to a broken and lost world and also we have specific and periodic outreach program in partnership with local churches located in the area where we choose to reach people out with the gospel.
During our outreach program, we use different evangelism methods taught in Disciple and Evangelism Training Center.
With a heart for championing young people, MEICRON strives to provide opportunities for children and teenagers to learn from God and follow Him. We recognize that kids and teens have beautiful gifts to offer, unique to them at their specific ages.
In this area of the ministry, MEICRON works in partnership with MISSION LE SALUT ET UNE EGLISE POUR LES ENFANTS “MSEE” a specialized and experienced ministry to children and teenagers in cities and in rural areas as well.
Many young people leave the church when they leave school. One key reason is that they do not have a faith of their own; many have been carrying someone else’s relationship with Jesus. They have been told how to live and what Christ means to them.
We work with the Church to motivate, equip and walk alongside teens who seek real friendship with Jesus and want to reflect Him daily in their world. We seek to create an environment that helps teenagers develop their own faith and friendship with Jesus.
In the MEICRON event, teens experience large-group teaching, small-group Bible study, worship, outreach, sports and arts. They have an opportunity to better understand the needs of their world. Through seminars and workshops, we help them understand and use the gifts God has given them.
Open door conference is a special program organized every year in different cities around the world. This conference brings together pastors and Christians from different denominations. This conference is a unique occasion where the evangelist Thuram presents the state of the mission and what is going on in different country around the world. He also presents the different mission opportunities to encourage the church as well as the individual to take part in this noble task of the mission each one according to its possibilities.
JESUS IS ALIVE CRUSADE is a concentrated effort to evangelize a city or region. Prior to the preaching the groundwork is laid: a large venue is rented, whole communities are invited, musicians and counsellors are lined up, and churches are asked to pray. The souls won during these crusades are put under the care of local churches for their spiritual growth.
